We’d like to thank you again: for the keen participation in our first survey. It really helped us and, above all, validated us.
We’d like to take this opportunity to react to your opinions:
We can only say: amazing. We’ll continue roughly as before. Many thanks.
You told us that you’d like to learn more about:
‘‘More about the harvest and everything that happens there.’’
In the Our OEL section of the new website, we describe how a classic harvest day works in as much detail as possible. You can think of the entire harvest period as a constant repetition of this daily routine.
But we’re not leaving it at that: for the coming harvest, we are planning both the annual photography and a large-scale film project.
‘‘Cooperation with your suppliers and customers.’’
This was particularly in relation to the production structures in Greece, and we will be bearing this in mind for the new harvest photographs and the film project.
“How can customers help get OEL onto shop shelves? Is there an information broschure that we can bringt to shops?”
Every bit of support helps!
Whenever you see an opportunity to bring OEL into the conversation, we will gratefully support you. Upon request, we would be more than happy to send you tasting samples and relevant information material in printed or digital form.
”Sustainability. Efforts towards organic farming, waste reduction, recycling. Non-profit support.”
We have dedicated a section of our new website to our efforts around sustainability. It is designed as a kind of material glossary and will be constantly expanded -> there’s always room for improvement.
‘‘JouernOEL is good, just as it is!’’
“e.g. about the health aspects of olive oil. Are the olives harvested when they are green, i.e. unripe, and what does that mean for the polyphenol content relative to ripe olives?”
We have dedicated as section of our new website to the subject of health and olive oil:
To the question: yes, an early harvest is directly correlated with a higher polyphenol content. You can see that in our analysis here.
The orange-colored area takes us straight to the next section…
