How much are the shipping costs?
In Germany we charge a flat shipping fee of €5.99 for orders under €85 (basic price including packaging and fuel surcharge from DHL).
We deliver free shipping within Germany for orders over €85. (Please understand that when using discount codes, the free delivery limit is only reached for a total order value of €85.)
For shipments abroad, shipping costs are calculated based on weight. These are displayed in the shopping cart.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, we also ship to selected countries. You can see in your shopping cart whether your country is included and how much shipping costs.
How long does the delivery take?
We ship within 1 to 3 days with DHL. You will then automatically receive a shipping message with the tracking information. Unfortunately, how long the package is on the way is beyond our control.
My package hasn't arrived. What to do?
How long the package is on the way is beyond our control. However, please get in touch if nothing has arrived 3 days after the shipping notification.
Note on transport damage
Please be prepared that one or two canisters may get a small bump on the way to you. This does not represent a reduction in quality.
In the event of more severe transport damage, please contact us immediately with a photo of the damage. We will find a solution!
PACKAGING
A little information about our packaging
How do you open the canister?
To open the canister, you have to pull up two tabs on the side of the black lid. These then serve as handles to pull out the grommet. Then you can simply unscrew the lid. To avoid spills when pouring, do not pour too slowly and stop pouring abruptly rather than slowly.
Why do you use canisters instead of bottles?
There are a few reasons why we chose the tin canister as the best packaging for our olive oil:
The canister is light and square and therefore saves resources when transporting it.
The canister is airtight and opaque. This protects the content as best as possible.
In Germany, tinplate has a significantly better recycling rate than glass of over 90%. One of the reasons for this is that tinplate is magnetic and is simply fished out in the sorting systems using huge magnets.
Do you use plastic for shipping?
No. We send your packages strictly plastic-free and only use sustainable, compostable package packaging and padding materials.
