To make date syrup, dried fruits are actually soaked in water and boiled down until a thick, brown syrup is formed.
Nara's organic date syrup, on the other hand, uses fresh, ripe fruits. These are pressed at a temperature of not exceeding 40°C. This ensures that the product ultimately retains as many of the important nutrients as possible. The juice, which is still very liquid after the first pressing, is then kept in the sun for some time. The pressed fruit turns into a wonderful, dark syrup with a honey-like consistency that is hard to beat in terms of taste and quality.
