Naturally cloudy extra virgin olive oil from organically grown Koroneiki olives.
This oil does not undergo the final filtration process, so it contains more suspended solids and has a cloudy appearance.
Especially when the olive oil is fresh, the suspended particles carry aromas and make this cold-extracted extra virgin olive oil even grassier and fresher.
Over time, suspended particles settle to the bottom of the canister, which is why it is recommended to gently shake it before use.
Unlike refined cooking oils, premium cold-extracted olive oils change their flavor over time. Initially, immediately after harvest, they are quite bitter and sharp. Extra virgin olive oils become milder over time. The Koroneiki olive, from which our olive oil is made, has comparatively little bitterness, but plenty of grassy and citrus notes, so it tastes truly fantastic even when fresh.

(Good to know: Some canisters may develop a small dent on their way to you. This does not represent a reduction in quality.)

How do I open the canister?

Grasp the plastic cap on top of the canister and first pull it up and turn it counterclockwise (to the left) until it comes off.
