What exactly is OIL dust?
OIL dust is dried olives that have been crushed into small flakes and can be used like a spice.
Making the olive flakes
For OELstaub, the olives are first debittered as normal for a few weeks using brine and then marinated with vinegar, oil and, if necessary, herbs. They are then dried at below 40°C and chopped.
Use of OIL dust
OIL dust can be used like a spice or herbs. It's best to sprinkle it over the finished dish to add a final touch with the spicy olive aroma.

OIL dust has an intense olive aroma because drying removes moisture from the olive and creates a kind of concentrate.

Durch eine Bekannte, die sagte, in Griechenland gäbe es Olivenstaub über das Essen, habe ich recherchiert und bin auf Euer Produkt -Olivenflocken - gestoßen. Da ich ein unglaublicher Olivenfan bin, ist dieses Produkt absolut genial. Ich habe mir den Olivenmix bestellt. Bevor das erste Glas verflockt 😉 war, habe ich gleich zwei Gläser auf Vorrat bestellt und eines ist in kürzester Zeit schon wieder fast leer. Also die nächste Bestellung wird bald wieder fällig, versprochen. Die Lieferung kam ratz fatz und sie war sehr ordentlich verpackt.
Das erste mal Oliven dehydriert im Essen verwendet. Aber schmeckt sehr gut!

Der Ölstaub schmeckt sehr gut. Ich nehme ihn zum Müsli, Salat, Gemüsegerichte... und verschenke ihn gerne. Perfekt
Ich gebe das Pulver immer über Ofengemüse mit Tomatensoße in den verschiedensten Varianten, es runden den Geschmack jedesmal ganz toll ab.
